In this week’s back-by-popular-demand airing, eTown welcomes the young (and already widely popular) Greensky Bluegrass to eTown’s solar-powered stage. Since winning the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band in 2006, the band’s career has been on an upward trajectory that is showing no sign of slowing down soon, with headlining slots at some of the country’s most prestigious festivals and venues now a regular occurrence on the band’s yearly touring schedule. Talented country music singer/songwriter Elizabeth Cook also makes her first appearance on the show this week, plus we’ll check in with Xiuhtezcatl Tonatiuh, a teenage climate activist who is speaking out in major venues around the world about the importance of environmental stewardship, from the perspective of his generation.
