We continue with eTown’s special 30th anniversary series, sharing highlights from each of our 30 seasons of programs. This week, we offer a full rerun of a wonderful show that happened in 1997, featuring musical guest Robert Cray, one of America’s dynamic, iconic American blues guitarist and singer. Keeping with that blues theme, we welcome bluesman Johnny Long, who became immersed in the blues scene at an early age, traveling and living with blues legend Homesick James starting in 1970. And this week’s eChievement Award winner, Michael Leonard, talks about preserving a pristine and very special natural piece of wilderness along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina.
